Enter the code shown on your dishwasher display

Is it safe to keep using it?

Depends on code severity. Low/Medium codes often allow continued use, High severity requires immediate stop.

Can error codes be reset?

Some codes clear after power cycle. Persistent codes indicate underlying issues needing repair.

When should I stop using it?

Stop immediately for water leak codes, burning smell, or any High severity error.

Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
E01 Electronics Self-Test Fault High The control panel lights activate normally and the program selection works, but the unit never begins filling with water. E01 appears within seconds of pressing Start. View E02 Heater Relay Fault High The unit fills and begins the wash program but halts when the control attempts to energize the heating relay, displaying E02 before water temperature rises. View E03 Auxiliary Heater Relay Fault High The dishwasher runs a complete drying phase but dishes on both racks emerge wet, indicating the auxiliary heating circuit that supports drying is not operating. View E04 Heater Electronics Fault High Even after a full wash cycle, dishes feel cool or only slightly warm rather than hot to the touch. View E06 Door Sensor Lock Fault Medium The dishwasher powers on and accepts program selection, but pressing Start produces E06 and no cycle begins. The door appears closed to the user but the sensor disagrees. View E07 Drying Fan Failure Medium After a complete cycle including the drying phase, both racks of dishes are noticeably wet — water droplets remain on plates, glasses, and the stainless interior walls. View E08 Water Level Too Low for Heating High The dishwasher reaches the point where the heating element should activate, detects insufficient water, and either pauses or restarts the fill sequence — sometimes repeatedly — before displaying E08. View E09 Heating Circuit Fault High Opening the door during or after a cycle reveals that the water inside is at room temperature or only slightly warm. View E10 Heating Element Limescale Fault High Cycles take longer than normal and dishes emerge cooler than expected, indicating the heating element is struggling to raise water temperature due to scale insulation on its surface. View E11 NTC Temperature Sensor Fault Medium The dishwasher remains stuck in the heating phase because the control is waiting for the sensor to confirm the target temperature has been reached — a signal the failed sensor cannot provide. View E12 Limescale Buildup Low A film of white or grey mineral scale coats the stainless steel tub walls, rack tines, and spray arms. View E13 Incoming Water Too Hot Medium The cycle begins but the inlet valve does not open to fill the tub. E13 appears on the display and the dishwasher waits without water entering, protecting the interior from overly hot supply water. View E14 Flow Meter Failure Medium The dishwasher begins filling with water but halts mid-program before reaching the correct water level. View E15 Water Leak Detected High The current cycle halts abruptly and the control panel shows E15. Pressing Start has no effect. View E16 Unwanted Water Fill High The dishwasher completes its programmed fill volume but water continues to trickle or flow into the tub, with the water level gradually rising beyond the normal operating level. View E17 Water Fill Level Fault High Water enters the tub but the dishwasher stops before the expected fill level is reached, as if the control has lost confidence in the actual water level and aborted the fill. View E18 Insufficient Water Fill Medium The dishwasher starts a cycle but the water level inside appears unusually low when the door is opened. View E20 Heat Pump Electrical Fault High The heat pump fails to activate and the wash water temperature stays at room temperature — dishes emerge without the thermal cleaning and drying benefit that the heat pump provides. View E21 Circulating Pump Blockage High Opening the door during the wash phase — or observing dish cleanliness after the cycle — reveals that the spray arms were not rotating correctly. Dishes have dried food debris still attached, particularly on the lower rack. View E22 Filter System Blocked Low Small food fragments or grit appear on dishes, especially on the lower rack, after a supposedly clean cycle. View E23 Drain Pump Fault Medium After the cycle ends, several inches of dirty water are still present at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. View E24 Drainage Problem Medium After the drain phase, a visible layer of water remains across the floor of the tub rather than draining completely. View E25 Drain Pump Impeller Blocked Medium Water sits at the bottom of the tub after the cycle completes, at a level suggesting no draining occurred at all. View E27 Low Supply Voltage High Cycles run but the pump sounds sluggish, heat takes longer than normal, and the control panel response feels delayed. View
