- Door switch and interlock system repair
- Convection fan motor and element repair
- Turntable motor and coupler replacement
Thermador microwave repair covers Masterpiece and Professional built-in microwave models — including microwave drawer units, combination wall ovens with microwave, and standalone built-in microwaves. Magnetron, control board, and door switch service available.
Thermador Professional and Masterpiece built-in microwaves — the MBES30, MBESL30, and MCES30 — are designed for cabinet integration and offer convection, sensor cooking, and combination modes beyond standard microwave capability. When the microwave stops heating, error codes Er1 through Er18 appear, or the door interlock fails, professional repair by high-voltage-trained technicians is essential.
Common Thermador Microwave Problems
- No heating — microwave runs but food stays cold (magnetron or HV circuit)
- Er1, Er4, Er11, or Er18 error codes on display
- H95 humidity sensor error (sensor cooking affected)
- Door not closing properly or door latch not engaging
- Convection mode not heating (MCES30 and combination models)
- PF power failure code after outage (settings reset required)
Error Codes We Diagnose
We diagnose all Thermador microwave fault codes: Er1 (temperature sensor), Er4 (door switch fault), Er11 (keypad or control board), Er18 (communication fault), H95 (humidity sensor), E1006 and E1007 (inverter faults), and PF (power failure). High-voltage components are tested using proper safety procedures on every visit.
Models We Service
We service all Thermador built-in microwave models including the MBES30 (Professional Series), MBESL30 (Masterpiece Speed Oven with radiant heat), MCES30 (Masterpiece Convection MicroCombi), and Thermador built-in drawer microwave configurations. All finish and panel options are supported.
High-Voltage Safety
Microwave ovens contain a high-voltage capacitor that can retain a lethal electrical charge even after the unit is unplugged. Our technicians discharge this capacitor as the first step of every microwave repair. Never open the cabinet of a microwave oven for any reason — there is no safe DIY repair for the high-voltage circuit.
Our Repair Process
- Inspect: Verify all reported symptoms and check door seal condition
- Test: Discharge HV capacitor, test magnetron resistance, check door switches
- Diagnose: Confirm faulty component at root level
- Estimate: Written repair cost before work begins
- Repair: Replace part, verify full heating and control function
Transparent Pricing
Microwave repairs start from $125 for door switch and control board work. Magnetron replacement starts from $225. Pricing confirmed in writing before work begins.
