Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
E1 EEPROM Memory Failure High Cook temperatures, clock, and timer settings reset to factory defaults each time the breaker is restored. View E2 Control Not Calibrated Medium Recipes that previously worked well now produce undercooked results despite using the same temperature and time. View E3 Open Oven Sensor High The bake or convection program begins, then the heating elements de-energize within 30 seconds and E3 appears. View E4 Shorted Oven Sensor High The oven indicates it is preheating but the cavity never warms up and the elements never glow. View E5 Potentiometer Failure Medium Rotating a control knob clockwise or counterclockwise no longer changes the burner flame size or oven temperature — the control board is not receiving a valid signal from the potentiometer. View E6 Over Temperature in Cook Mode High Cookies, breads, and pastries scorch on top within minutes of being placed in the oven. View E7 Over Temperature in Self-Clean High The clean program starts normally but cancels with E7 well before the cavity reaches the end of the high-heat phase. View E9 Cooling Fan Failure High Normally a soft whirring is audible from the rear of the range when the oven is hot. With E9, the range is silent. View E11 Door Latch Fault Medium Pressing Self Clean produces an immediate E11 instead of activating the door lock. View E12 Expansion Board Disconnected Medium On 48-inch Pro Grand ranges with two oven cavities, only the main oven works. The secondary cavity controls do nothing. View E13 VCC Lift-Off Error High The display briefly shows E13 then the entire control panel becomes unlit and unresponsive — the VCC supply drop has caused the microcontroller to halt and the control panel to lose power. View E14 Selector Switch Error Medium Turning the selector to Bake, Broil, or Convection produces no response from the oven controls. View
