What's Included
- Wash pump and motor repair
- Control board and user interface replacement
- Heating element and thermostat replacement
- AquaStop hose and leak sensor service
- Water inlet valve and flow meter repair
- Drain pump and drain system cleaning
Thermador dishwasher repair covers Sapphire and Star-Sapphire models — addressing E15 AquaStop floods, drain pump failures, AquaScrub spray arm service, PrecisionWash sensor diagnostics, and door latch repair on all Thermador dishwasher units.
Thermador Sapphire and Star-Sapphire dishwashers run at 38 dBa or less and deliver results through the AquaScrub spray arm system and PrecisionWash sensing technology. When error codes E15 through E27 appear, the dishwasher fails to drain, or AquaStop triggers with water in the base pan, professional repair restores cleaning performance and prevents water damage.
Common Thermador Dishwasher Problems
- E15 code — water in base pan, AquaStop activated (often inlet hose or pump seal leak)
- E24 or E25 — drain fault, water not pumping out
- E22 — filter blocked or flow restriction in wash circuit
- Dishes coming out dirty or cloudy (spray arm blockage or water temperature fault)
- Dishwasher not starting cycle (door latch or control board fault)
- Excessive noise during wash (pump bearing or foreign object in sump)
Error Codes We Diagnose
We diagnose all Thermador dishwasher fault codes: E04 (heating circuit), E09 (heating element), E12 (flow meter or water intake), E14 (turbidity sensor), E15 (water in base pan), E18 (water fill timeout), E22 (filter blocked), E23 (drain pump fault), E24 (drain blockage), E25 (drain impeller jammed), and E27 (water pressure low).
Models We Service
We service all four Thermador dishwasher lines: Star-Sapphire (top of range, custom panel with SteelTouch control), Sapphire, Emerald, and Topaz. All DWHD model variants — including panel-ready, stainless, and custom-panel configurations — across all current and previous production years are supported.
AquaStop Leak System Service
Thermador dishwashers use AquaStop, a dual-valve water inlet system that shuts off water supply if a leak is detected in the base pan. When E15 triggers, there is water in the base — even if the floor appears dry. Our technicians identify the leak source (commonly the inlet hose, door seal, or circulation pump gasket), dry the base pan, repair the leak, and reset the AquaStop sensor before returning the unit to service.
Our Repair Process
- Inspect: Check base pan for water, test all wash and dry functions
- Test: Run diagnostic cycle, retrieve stored fault codes, test pump amperage
- Diagnose: Confirm leak source or faulty component at root cause level
- Estimate: Written repair cost before work begins
- Repair: Replace or reseal faulty component, dry base pan, run test cycle to confirm resolution
