What's Included
- Star Burner igniter and burner cap replacement
- Oven control board repair and replacement (E1–E14 codes)
- Oven temperature sensor and bake element replacement
- Gas valve and safety valve diagnosis
- Convection fan motor replacement
- Self-clean door lock and latch repair
Thermador Pro Grand and Pro Harmony ranges deliver restaurant-grade BTU output and ExtraLow simmer performance through the Star Burner system. When igniters click without lighting, the oven temperature drifts, or error codes E1 through E14 appear, professional repair by technicians who know the BSH-platform range architecture gets your range back to full performance.
Common Thermador Range Problems
- Star Burner igniter clicking without flame (wet or worn igniter)
- Oven not reaching set temperature (element or sensor fault)
- Oven control error codes E1 through E14
- Convection fan running continuously or not at all
- Self-clean cycle failing to start or not completing
- Gas odor near burners (gas valve or seal issue — requires immediate service)
Error Codes We Diagnose
We diagnose all Thermador range fault codes: E1 (oven sensor open), E2 (oven sensor short), E3 (oven overtemperature), E4 (bake element circuit), E6 (oven relay board), E9 (door lock fault), E11 (convection fan), E14 (gas valve), and all codes in between. Each code is confirmed at the component level before any part is sourced.
Models We Service
We service the full Pro Grand lineup — 30", 36", 48", and 60" gas and dual-fuel configurations (PRG30, PRG36, PRG48, PRG60, PRD30, PRD36) — as well as Pro Harmony models, the Professional Series, and all previous-generation Thermador freestanding ranges. Star Burner systems on all models are fully supported.
Star Burner System Expertise
The Thermador Star Burner five-point flame design and ExtraLow simmer feature (as low as 100°F) rely on precisely calibrated gas valves and igniter positioning. Our technicians understand Star Burner architecture and can service both the standard and ExtraLow burner positions on all Pro Grand configurations.
